I also don't really like having to run windowed to not cause issues with active application or have to bounce between apps on my main PC. I like EDCoPilot and all the things it can do, but I didn't care for SpaceDesk because it resolution was really low and I could not change it, and there was a large lag in response time. I downloaded EDCoPilot last night and tried it using SpaceDesk. However, sometimes during a star-jumping frenzy (say, going to Colonia), it boops, briefly shows the new info, then flips back to the Voice Log as it reads back one of the standard lines after a jump completes. That seems to be one of the few that issues that gentle "boop" sound, and seems to be issuing it whenever the information updates. It is definitely most prevalent during startup, and my installation is grousing about not finding key bindings for quick-comms and such, going line-by-line to itemize precisely which bindings it wants >_< With each line it speaks, it does jump right back to the voice log.Īfter it settles down, I can often get it to stop flipping around and stay on a screen, EXCEPT for the System Bodies information screen. I will look at making it a little less insistent on startup ! Was thinking this may just be on startup when it is announcing where you are and your ships jump range? It will put you back there until that is done.
