The handling is also very enjoyable for me, but mileage may vary as I see people complaining about controllers. A lot of tracks feature some buildings, fences, various rocks, obstacles and ditches and feel very well realized, realistic and at the end of the day fun. My favorite stage is probably in Kenya, where there are huge bumps into corners and then the track opens to a wide flat road and ends up in some easier corners. The thing i really like about the game are the stages itself, they are very varied, from very tight, punishing twisty turns, to wide gravel tracks where drifting is super enjoyable and forgiving. The game runs nice, at around 90-100 fps on my medium-end PC. Honestly it made me not regret purchasing my budget wheel all those years ago. Out of all the games I tried it played best with my wheel out of the box. A really As a casual racing games fan I really enjoy this game. This WRC 10 is therefore the penultimate opus of the French studio which will still have had the merit of bringing the series out of the mediocrity in which it stagnated, during the time when Milestone was in charge (the Metacritic ratings are from 80% on average during the Evolution Studios era to 60% during the Milestone era)Īs a casual racing games fan I really enjoy this game.

Do not forget either that the license will change creamery in 2023, from KT Racing / Nacon to Codemasters / EA. Unfortunately, we feel that COVID has had its work, whether it is the proposed rallies that are no longer really in line with the 2021 calendar, more technical aspects of the game that have not changed a bit. Undoubtedly the most striking feature is of course the arrival of the choice of tire allocation for the rally, which adds a good layer of strategy in certain events including the Monte-Carlo. The stable manager mode is also welcome, although it is still not understood why you have to end the previously mentioned mode in order to be able to access it.

The 50th anniversary mode finally allows you to take advantage of the discipline's old glories, and while we would have liked it to have been more fleshed out, it still makes an act of presence.

WRC 10 is not a bad installment in the series, with its fair share of welcome novelties.
